dB Technologies | Supercross 2011

Post-Audio pakte dit jaar tijdens de Supercross 2011 in de Zeelandhallen groot uit. En dat mocht ook wel met al die knetterende uitlaten. Post-Audio werkt zoals altijd met top of the line equipment en de Line-Array van DB Technologies kon dan ook niet ontbreken. En dat bleef niet onopgemerkt.

At Internationally Renowned
Indoor Motorcross Event

Goes, Netherlands; April 2011 – dB Technologies' DVA line array was the loudspeaker system used at the indoor supercross championships at Zeelandhalls, Goes this year.

The  event's sound technology was organised by Post Audio, an event management company which has an 18 year history with the Zeeland Motorsport Foundation - and therefore agood reputation to uphold. Owner of Post Audio, Michel Kamphuis explains, “This was the first time we had used dB Technologies gear for this particular event. You can imagine the unbelievable sound thesemotorbikes make in the hall, so it was imperative that we find a compact and flexible system that would be able to deliver a constant SPL of 106dB across the three banks of seating. I'm pleased to say, the dBTechnologies system handled it really well and the organisers were really impressed with its performance.”

Reputed to be one of the biggest indoor motorcross events in Europe, the Supercross took place at Zeelandhalls which was filled to its 3500 capacity with wildly enthusiastic spectators. “We used 4 x 3 DVA T4 flown with a DVA S10 subwoofer and using DVX 10active speakers as delay lines. This set up was able to keep the SPL at a constant 106dB throughout the contest - exactly what was required,” added Kamphuis. Heroes of the motorcross world, Jurgen Sybo, Jack Brunnel and motorcross trainers Mike Kras, Marco Stalman and Rinus van de Ven all put in an appearance, helping to make this years Supercross meet a success.
